Christopher Robert has recently emigrated from London, England to become our newest addition to the BVC family!
Chris has wanted to work with animals since he can remember. He was able to move to South Africa when he was 18 years old to study and work as a safari guide on the Amakhala Game Reserve on the Eastern Cape. After completing his Bachelors and Masters degrees, he studied at the world-renowned Royal Veterinary College of London to learn about the wonderful subject of veterinary medicine.
Chris enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine from surgery to internal medicine and everything in between! He thoroughly likes building great bonds with his clients and working with them to maintain their animals’ health.
Chris enjoys travelling and working with animals abroad. He was recently sponsored by the Worldwide Veterinary Service to study parasitism in the stray dog population of Chiangmai, Thailand.
As he is new to the city, he will be spending a lot of time exploring the local cuisine and sights; and you may see him walking around with his two rescue dogs Riley (Bulldog/Lab Cross) and Xena (American Staffordshire Terrier) checking out the local parks!
Don’t mind his accent! We’re sure he will be talking like a New Yorker in no time.
