End of Life Care

Time To Say
Goodbye

End of Life Care

Making the decision to say good-bye to your pet is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do. We look at life from a human perspective and want them to stay with us for as long as possible. However, if your pet is suffering or enduring a poor quality of life, saying good-bye can be the kindest decision you make. Sometimes, when all medical efforts have been exhausted, euthanasia is the only way to help an animal find peace.

When it’s time to let go, our caring staff of compassionate professionals can help you through this difficult experience. Our end-of-life euthanasia services are humane and are performed with compassion, respect and gentle care. As pet owners ourselves, we understand that pets are part of the family, and they deserve to pass away with dignity.

Because we care, all of our staff have completed coursework at the Companion Animal Euthanasia Training Academy, which provides education in companion animal euthanasia to improve the overall experience for the pet, caregiver, and veterinary team.

To give your pet the most comfort during their final moments, we offer a comfortable room where we conduct this service. Please contact us at when it’s time to discuss how we can help. We can also assist with cremation options, including urns and ash boxes, and pet cemeteries. You’ll have the option to make payment prior to the euthanasia appointment so you can leave peacefully when you are ready.

Cremation

When you choose to cremate your pet, you have a couple of choices. These choices include individual or communal cremation.

Individual

Individual cremation means that your beloved pet will get their own separate cremation and you will get their ashes back in an urn. Your pet’s ashes will be ready to pick up at our office in two to three weeks. After the cremation service, you will be able to keep the ashes in your home, bury them or scatter them over your pet’s favorite place.

Communal

This style of cremation means that more than one pet will be cremated at a time. When the process is over, the owners do not get an urn full of their pet’s ashes. It is a great choice if you do not want to keep the cremated ashes.

Included in all cremation is a customized Paw Print keepsake of your beloved pet for you to take home.

You may fill out our consent form ahead of time so that you may devote your full attention to your pet during this appointment.
